Retail media agency pricing. Right here on the page.
Most agencies make you book a call to learn what they charge. Here is what we charge. A flat monthly retainer, an optional performance kicker tied to the sales the platforms actually attribute to us, and no percentage of ad spend anywhere in it. We earn more only when you sell more.
The retainer
A flat monthly fee for the work: strategy, campaign management, digital shelf, and your reporting. Between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on the tier, known up front, and it does not balloon because you had a good month. Media spend is separate and billed to you by the platforms.
The performance kicker
Optional, and capped. Two percent of the sales the platforms attribute to us natively, with total kicker in any year capped at one annual retainer. Our incentive points at exactly one thing: moving more of your product.
No percentage of ad spend
Charging a percentage of your ad spend rewards us for spending more of your money. We charge a flat fee so our advice stays honest. When the right call is to pull back on a campaign, nothing in our billing argues against it.

These prices cover our work, not your advertising spend. Media is billed to you directly by Instacart, Walmart, Amazon, or whichever platforms you run on. Each platform sets its own minimum spend and billing terms, and those terms change from time to time. We tell you what a platform requires before you commit to it.
Onboarding is one month’s retainer, charged at signing. It covers the account audit, platform access setup, campaign architecture, and baseline reporting.
The performance kicker is optional: 2% of platform-attributed sales, capped at one annual retainer. That figure comes from what Instacart, Walmart, and Amazon report natively, not from a disputed incremental-sales calculation. Because of the cap, what you pay in a year can never exceed roughly twice the base retainer.
How much does a retail media agency cost?
Most retail media agencies price as a percentage of your ad spend, typically in the low double digits, and set a minimum that puts them out of reach for a brand under roughly a million dollars in annual media. UPCPilot prices differently on purpose: a flat monthly retainer you can see above, plus a performance component tied to platform-attributed sales. A percentage of spend pays an agency to spend. We would rather be paid to sell your product.
